Purpose:
Recruitment and retention of students by re-energizing relations with our families and publics. Deepen relationships with our community by offering a program that builds strong Christian character through fine arts, academic, athletic, and extra-curricular offerings.Process:
While the program is in the infancy stages, the desired features will include the following for students in grades Pre-K–5: organized fine arts program, exploratory extra-curricular topics, athletic program for males and females, and academic enriching opportunities. Please see attached flowchart for preliminary conceptual drawings of these offerings. The club will also provide community building and spiritual growth opportunities. The scope of the club is only limited to the resources and people available to assist in its success.Outcome:
It is expected that, as a result of the development and implementation of the club, the Catholic community will grow in unity. The students and adults involved in the program will strengthen their Christian character. The participants will become more proficient in their chosen activity. In addition, it is likely that the participants will also develop new friendships and strengthen existing relationships. This will have a tremendous impact on our retention of current families, not to mention the draw of new families to our system. By having fun, learning leadership qualities, sacrificing self for the benefit of the whole we will essentially be building character of loyalty and longevity to our system while reinforcing the value of our ability to deepen spiritual growth in the youngest of souls. This will impact enrollment figures as students will be drawn to be a part of the positive influence of our club. This falls on the premise of group cohesion and the human desire to belong to a community.
