2020 Graduation Update

Wahlert Catholic High School is committed to creating the most memorable graduation experience possible for our class of 2020 in this uncommon year.

With helpful feedback from our senior students and parents, we believe we have a well-rounded plan that will accommodate the fluidity of the changing environment we’re all becoming accustomed to.

Thank you for your patience, support, and ideas throughout this process.

Plan A Graduation Date:

2 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, at Wahlert Catholic High School

We are planning a unique indoor graduation ceremony held in combination with our traditional Baccalaureate Mass to close the year, celebrate our students, and send them forth to new experiences. Please know that safety for all participants will continue to be at the forefront of our planning. Further details about safety measures (such as the number of guests per graduate) will be shared at a later date.

Plan B Graduation Date:

2 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, at Wahlert Catholic High School

This will serve as our back-up graduation date. While August seems like a long way away, we feel the significant separation of the two dates will provide the best possibility for a viable back-up plan. The same ceremonial experience outlined in Plan A would be held on this date.

Plan C – A Digital Graduation Experience:

Wahlert Catholic will produce a quality digital ceremony that will serve as our last resort, should circumstances prevent us from joining in-person on either date.  This production will be shared with our graduates either way as a commemorative token of their one-of-a-kind graduation year.

We recognize these arrangements are far from ideal, and we thank you for your understanding and flexibility.  Please join us in praying for a safe in-person 2020 graduation!
