About Us

Academics

At Wahlert, we want to ensure that our students are prepared for college and career, so we offer a top-notch, comprehensive high school curriculum designed to challenge and prepare all skill levels. The effectiveness of our programs are exemplified in the incredible achievements of our students, who continually rank above state and national averages for college preparedness. Additionally, with a 100 percent high school graduation rate, 98 perecent of Wahlert students go on to pursue a college education—at some of the best colleges and universities in the state and nation.

Innovation

The world in which our students will live and work is becoming more progressive every day, so it's our job to make sure that what we prepare them for is relevant. As a one-to-one school, research and problem solving reach a new level with each student connecting and communicating via their own personal computer. Programs like Project Lead the Way’s Biomedical Sciences and Principles of Engineering make our core STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) curriculum limitless. And, as the landscape of a global marketplace continues to change, why not offer students a chance to be trilingual with Spanish and Chinese language studies?

Faith, Service and Community

Wahlert is a special place, and you can feel it as you walk the halls. The students are a close-knit community. Together they serve, worship and work toward common goals, and as a result, there's a mutual respect for one another. A dedicated, compassionate staff builds strong relationships with their students, which welcomes individual attention or counsel when it's needed most. Students are encouraged to explore their faith and take ownership of their high school experience, which breathes pride and spirit into the entire Wahlert community.

A Tradition of Success: Athletics and Activities

We’re firm believers that participation is an important part of becoming a well-rounded adult. We not only want to cultivate scholars and athletes, but also participants, change-makers and enthusiasts. Our athletic teams have a storied history of success in the premier athletic conference in the state, and our performing arts programs are second to none. With such a wide range of activities and student organizations, there’s something for all interests to engage in.
