FAST (Grades K-8)

FAST stands for Formative Assessment System for Teachers. With three testing periods in the school year, FAST provides screening and progress monitoring of current reading and math skills to help identify intervention needs. The assessment is a checkpoint measurement of a student's understanding of concepts taught at a certain point in the year.

*Our Lady of Guadalupe K-1 students are not screened for English due to participation in full immersion programming, thus reducing our system-wide screening percentage from 100% to 88%.

Service Hours Contributed

All Holy Family Catholic Schools students participate in service to the community.  Middle school students are required to contribute at least 15 hours and high school students contribute at least 20 hours per year of service in addition to in-school service projects. Students earning the service cord have personally contributed over 200 hours of service during their high school years.
