Middle School Ministry

Mazzuchelli Catholic Middle School is an extension of your child’s primary faith community of family and parish. Middle School Ministry partners with parents, parishes and staff to help students grow as disciples through four pillars: message, worship, community and service. Together, these experiences help students deepen their understanding of God’s love and learn how to live their faith with confidence.

Our school chaplain works closely with religion teachers to coordinate ministry opportunities, support faith formation across the school day, help plan liturgies and serve as a bridge to local parishes.

Message

Students take religion daily, and Gospel values are reinforced across every subject. Middle School Ministry supports the religion curriculum through resources and experiences connected to the liturgical seasons.

Worship

Students are invited to pray together during weekly school Masses, prayer services and opportunities for Reconciliation throughout the year. Staff and student leaders plan and prepare these opportunities for worship, taking ownership of the liturgy as readers, musicians, greeters, altar servers and Eucharistic ministers.

Community

Middle School Ministry strengthens connections with local parishes and mission partners by sharing opportunities with students and welcoming youth ministers, pastors and other faith leaders into the school community.

Service

Service is a way of life at Mazzuchelli. Middle School Ministry helps students find meaningful ways to serve through schoolwide projects and by connecting families to service opportunities at school, in parishes and across the community.
