The Holy Family Catholic Schools Hall of Honor was established to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to their work, their community, and to the Holy Family Catholic School community. We are proud to continue this tradition each year as we highlight the accomplishments and service of those who strive to make an impact professionally and personally.

Award Categories and Criteria

*Since this is a continuation of past awards, individuals are not allowed to win the same award twice or both similar awards. Individuals can win only one service award and one professional/career based award. Finalists not selected in their year of submission will automatically be submitted for consideration the following year.

Professional Achievement Award

This award honors alumni whose achievements in their field have brought distinction to themselves, credit to Holy Family Catholic Schools, and real benefit to their communities. 

Special Requirements: Nominee must be a graduate of Holy Family Catholic Schools.

  • What are the unique professional achievements that brought distinction to the nominee and to Holy Family?
  • What are the recognized contributions made by this candidate that demonstrate a benefit to the larger community?
  • How does the nominee's daily life reflect the Christian ideals put forth by Holy Family Catholic Schools?

Holy Family Catholic Schools Service Award

This award honors a current or former faculty, staff or administrative member of Holy Family Catholic Schools for extraordinary contributions to the student experience and the mission within the Holy Family community.

Special Requirement: Nominee must be or have been employed by Holy Family Catholic Schools.

  • How has the candidate displayed an exceptional personal commitment of time and effort during employment at Holy Family Catholic Schools?
  • How has the nominee's teaching, mentoring, and/or support of Holy Family contributed to the lives of students in the Holy Family community?
  • How has the candidate furthered the mission of Holy Family and given significant service?
  • How does the nominee's daily life reflect the Christian ideals put forth by Holy Family Catholic Schools?

Outstanding Service Award

This award recognizes the achievements of an individual's work through exceptional service to others through volunteer work and Christian service.

Special Requirements: None.

  • How has the nominee devoted a significant amount of personal time to better their community?
  • How has the nominee's service benefited the institution?
  • How does the nominee's daily life reflect the Christian ideals put forth by Holy Family Catholic Schools?

Rising Young Alumni Award

This award recognizes outstanding achievements of alumni 35 years of age and younger who have made an impact in their career, community, and/or contributions to Holy Family.

Special Requirements: Nominee must be a graduate of Wahlert Catholic High School and must be 35 years of age or younger.

  • What are the unique professional achievements that brought distinction to the candidate and to Holy Family?
  • What are the recognized contributions made by this candidate that demonstrate a benefit to the larger community?
  • How does the nominee's daily life reflect the Christian ideals put forth by Holy Family Catholic Schools?
